Brand Acquisition. Why ?
- Building a reputable brand takes time, expertise and integrity, but more than anything, it takes dedication. Virtually every well known brand was started by people with passion for the products they make. These brands mostly come from the West, but .. why?
- Innovation is the start of the creation of every single product we use each day; mature education and integrity are also key factors; attracting Chinese to buy established companies, but .. why ?
- They buy companies for their designs, their reputation, and to use the history of an established name. With no need for new innovationit’s incredibly viable, but .. why?
- They can make money immediately on the back of selling existing products and historic reputation. They really need to do this, but ..why?
-They have no R & D and don't like R & D investment, or R & D cost; after all it’s easier to copy. They can shift manufacture of market-selling products to China, irrespective of which country the brand reputation was built on. How does this benefit the Chinese and.. why?
- They can cut cost and make branded products cheaper than ever before, ultimately damaging the brand they have bought for quick financial gain. They do, however, still charge a premium for the inferior product with a known name on the front of what they now make in China. This hugely increases profits, but .. why?
- It takes a few short years for the natural degrade of quality and cost cutting of R & D, along with diminished service and reliability, to filter down to the buying public, damaging an established brand. After the years it takes to build a brand, these companies return bigger profits faster by cutting out these crucial parts needed to maintain a brand, thereby paying for the original acquisition faster. they do this almost universally, with no care for reputation, but ..why?
-To exploit the buying public through established brand recognition. The money they make from degrading the quality and the brand they acquired amasses enough money to buy another brand, and for the cycle to continue, further exploiting the buying public. This is collectively negative for each and every one of us, but ..why?
